The Programme
We understand the needs of sophisticated investors and will work with them to mitigate risks and maximise the potential of these investments in nanotechnology companies with highly disruptive global market impact.
Most innovation companies have to worry about finance, looking after business operations, protecting and developing their IP, marketing, strategy, scale up and building their products, pricing modelling and services ready for international commercialisation.
Working with the Invest in Nano programme means we can support the successful companies and their shareholders with these challenges through our partner programmes, allowing the team to focus on their core strengths, which will support building the market value of the company.
Nano science to market ready
Nano Media Group and The World Nano Foundation are sponsoring the programme, bringing together investors, global partners, resources, network and experience to help entrepreneurs take their ideas from conception to scale, maturity and or exit. This shared ecosystem works to vastly improve the speed and likelihood of success. It differs from the classic VC model, where investors simply distribute capital among ideas and teams, hoping one in five or ten might make it big. The Invest in Nano programme can bring a lot more than just an investment strategy to secure ongoing finance.
Hands-on support and services
It’s a hands-on model where experienced entrepreneurs work side by side with the our international business intelligence team, and all the successful businesses have access to a central pool of potential shared services or recommended specialist partners, such as legal advice, finance expertise, marketing, talent acquisition and online marketing (all provided by the Nano Media Group’s business intelligence team through research and discussion with the successful companies).
Commercial model for sustained growth, not quick wins
In exchange for support through the Invest in Nano programme, entrepreneurs to offer a small share of their company and a percentage of the capital raised in the process. This model allows the Invest in Nano programme to stay nimble and create more valuable businesses that solve real market needs using nanoscale technologies, offering a higher probability of success for all involved.
